Ventilated seats are a luxury you'll soon consider a necessity. Three levels of heating and cooling ventilation are offered. By gently circulating air through perforations in the seat and backrest, ventilated seats help keep you cooler and your clothes drier during warmer months. Reversible fans help draw heat away for brief periods. On cold or damp days, using both the ventilation and heating together can circulate the seat heating more quickly, to help keep you warm and dry.

Heating elements within the rim of the steering wheel rapidly take the chill out of your hands on a cold morning. After a few minutes, the heating level is automatically reduced to maintain lasting comfort.

A custom-designed mat for the cargo area features black carpeting. It's highly recommended with the Neva Grey interiors, to help protect their elegant light-color floor covering.

Custom-designed black rubber mats help keep your car's carpeting in top condition. Deep channels trap water, mud and melting snow. Easy to clean, they come in a set of four.

The Burmester® 3D system pairs innovations in mobile audio with legendary quality. A Digital Signal Processing amp can output 710 total watts to deliver a natural sound spectrum in any music genre. A total of 15 speakers includes 3D surround speakers, exquisitely drilled metal speaker grilles, and body-integrated FrontBass subwoofers. Along with preset listening modes, Sound Personalization can tailor settings to your individual tastes. EV Sound features integrate with the EQE Sound Experience.

The Head-Up Display projects an 8-inch-wide virtual image that appears to "float" several feet in front of the windshield. The high-resolution readout places useful information in the driver's natural field of vision, with minimal "eyes off the road." The full-color graphical display can show the next navigation instruction, driving speed, cruise-control settings and more. Its height adjustment is stored in the seat memory, while the display adapts automatically to ambient light.

While the navigation system provides directional assistance, the driver must remain focused on safe driving behavior, including paying attention to traffic and street signs. Four individual temperature controls offer personalized comfort to the front and rear cabins. In addition to fully automatic or manual control of blower speed and airflow distribution, the system includes sun and humidity sensors, a dust/pollen filter, and an activated charcoal filter that automatically recirculates cabin air upon detecting a significant increase in smog. The system also detects seat-belt usage and focuses first on areas of the cabin where occupants are seated.

A triple-stage filtration system takes advantage of the large area under the front hood. Large particles are screened before incoming air reaches a certified HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filter that can remove more than 99% of particulate pollution, comparable to an operating room. As a final step, activated charcoal filtration helps remove ultrafine particles, smog and odors from the cabin air. The system has earned European certification for bacteria and virus protection.

Automatic assist mechanisms quietly and graciously finish closing the doors for you or your passengers. Just bring the door to its latch, and the closing assist gently snugs it to its fully closed position.

State-of-the-art USB-C connectors allow plug-and-play enjoyment from your compatible devices as well as fast charging of your phone. A total of six ports are provided throughout the cabin.

A large, ultrasoft microfiber cloth features a suedelike side that's designed to help you keep your vehicle's touchscreens free of fingerprints and smudges. A fleece side of the cloth is useful for light dust removal. A clear storage bag lets you keep the folded cloth handy in the cabin.

For a balanced, comfortable ride, semi-active AIRMATIC® suspension employs electronically controlled air springs that adjust to changing driving conditions. Components are engineered to offer quick response with light system weight. AIRMATIC's intelligent 4-wheel level control helps compensate for additional cargo or passengers. It can also lower the ride height at higher speeds for improved aerodynamics, stability and efficiency, or raise it up to an inch for added ground clearance.

With the optional trailer hitch, an EQE SUV can tow up to 3,500 lbs. The hitch option includes the wiring harnesses for the trailer lights and brakes, as well as Trailer Stability Assist to help keep trailer sway under control.

For enhanced agility, stability and maneuverability, electromechanical actuators can steer the rear wheels up to 10 degrees based on driving speed and dynamics. Above 37 mph, the rear wheels can steer up to 3 degrees in either direction, to boost rear-wheel grip, cornering response, and control in evasive moves. At lower speeds and when parking, steering up to 10 degrees opposite the front wheels can cut the turning circle by some six feet for compact-car maneuverability in a spacious SUV.

• System cannot overcome the laws of physics, nor is it a substitute for being attentive to driving, traffic and conditions. Please always wear your seat belt. Performance is limited by available traction, which snow, ice and other conditions can affect. Always drive carefully, consistent with conditions. Best performance in snow is obtained with winter tires.

A built-in camera in the windshield can record activity occurring in front of the vehicle, potentially useful for documenting an accident or even recording a scenic journey. Video can include vehicle speed and time of day. Playback can be viewed on the car's multimedia display, or downloaded to a personal device via USB.

The Mercedes-Benz Wallbox lets you charge conveniently at home. It can add up to 30 miles of range per hour, for a full charge overnight. A 23-foot cable expands your options for parking and wallbox location. It’s integrated into your Mercedes-Benz app, so you can start/stop charging sessions, view your history and estimated costs, and more.
