The Night Package adds jet-black accents to the already aggressive presence of an AMG GLC. The front splitter trim, side mirror housings, side window surrounds, rear valance trim are all finished in deep gloss black. Dark chrome trims the exterior door handles. Roof rails are powder-coated in black as well, while black chrome tailpipes complete the transformation.

In addition to the black body elements of the AMG Night Package, a grille with darkened vertical bars and black chrome model badges add stealthy enhancements. The AMG crest on the hood is also finished in dark chrome.

An even bolder development of the AMG Night Package features additional gloss black elements, including the more prominent front splitter and side flics. The rear apron features a gloss black diffuser panel and breakaway-edge flics in the rear bumper.

Subtle yet prominent body elements are crafted from genuine carbon fiber, expressing the rich racing heritage of the AMG GLC 53 . The front air-dam splitter , side sill inserts and rear apron trim are each precisely formed in this motorsports material.

Stylish and functional running boards ease your entry and exit while providing a rugged element of design. They're ergonomically designed to offer a wider step area near the front door opening that narrows toward the rear, to help avoid contact with pants or long coats as you exit. Grippy rubber studs dot the running boards, for a surer step even in inclement weather.

Styled to resemble a racecar's fuel filler, the AMG fuel cap functions like the standard cap but adds a fun reminder of your vehicle's motorsports heritage every time you refuel.

To quietly celebrate the magic of AMG upon your arrival and departure, your car can project animated AMG logos on the ground near the doors when you remote-lock or unlock the vehicle. In addition to welcoming you in unmistakable style, the illumination can help you see puddles or uneven pavement as you approach your vehicle.

A stylish polished metal insert helps protect the paintwork on the rear bumper while you're loading and unloading the cargo area.

Enhance your vehicle's appearance with a stylish license plate frame and valve stem caps for the wheels, each detailed with the AMG logo. A matching keychain completes the set.

Help protect your alloy wheels and tires from theft without detracting from their appearance. One set of wheel locks secures four wheels, and includes a coded key.

All-season tires are available in place of the standard high-performance summer tires on select wheels. The tires offer enhanced performance in a wider variety of climate and road conditions. The tires for 20-inch wheels feature runflat capability.

• Lower-aspect-ratio tires and accompanying wheels may provide substantially increased treadwear, increased tire noise and reduced ride comfort. Serious wheel and tire damage may occur if the vehicle is operated on rough or damaged road surfaces or upon encountering road debris or obstacles. These tires are not designed for use on snow and ice. Winter tires mounted on appropriately sized and approved wheels are recommended for driving in those conditions.

The AMG Performance steering wheel features an intuitive twin-spoke design. In addition to its flat-bottom design and aluminum AMG shift paddles, the hand-stitched Nappa leather rim's contoured side areas are wrapped in grippy microfiber. Each spoke includes its own Touch Control Buttons, placed for more intuitive access by feel alone. AMG DRIVE UNIT performance controls and heating of the rim are both also standard.

Racing-inspired microfiber side grips are paired with inserts that bring the look of carbon fiber to the top and flattened bottom of the twin-spoke AMG Performance steering wheel. A microfiber 12 o'clock band asserts the attention to detail in its design.

Black seat belts are included with most upholstery choices, to match the overall interior trim color. They're also available at no charge in lieu of the red seat belts that come standard with Black MB-Tex/microfiber or leather upholstery w/Red accents.

Red seat belts make two bold statements: One for their racing-inspired style, and one asserting their role as the heart of an AMG safety philosophy that's equally important on the street and on the racetrack. Ventilated seats are a luxury you'll soon consider a necessity. Three levels of heating and cooling ventilation are offered. By gently circulating air through perforations in the seat and backrest, ventilated seats can help keep you cooler and your clothes drier during warmer months. Reversible fans can help draw heat away for brief periods. On cold or damp days, using both the ventilation and heating together can circulate the seat heating more quickly, to help keep you warm and dry.

Electrically heated outboard rear seats offer soothing warmth with individualized comfort. Three levels of warming automatically step down after several minutes, while automatic shutoff means the driver need not worry if the passengers forget to turn them off.

Using GPS technology and a fast hard drive to store maps and points of interest, this virtual copilot provides detailed driving directions with remarkable speed and a friendly voice. The in-dash displays can show 3D maps with building profiles. Operation is made easy by a choice of four input methods, including your natural voice, so finding a Point of Interest can be as easy as saying "Hey, Mercedes, I'm hungry."

• While the navigation system provides directional assistance, the driver must remain focused on safe driving behavior, including paying attention to traffic and street signs. Maps do not cover all areas or all routes within an area, may require periodic updating, and may not reflect recent or temporary changes to roadways.

A total of six USB-C ports are provided, all with fast-charging capability up to 100W. Two ports at the front of the console and two more under the armrest are also suitable for data transfer with the vehicle. Two ports are included in the rear center armrest as well. An additional 12V power outlet is provided for the rear cabin.

With the optional trailer hitch, the GLC can tow up to 3,500 lbs. The hitch option includes the wiring harnesses for the trailer lights and brakes, while every GLC is already equipped to handle the rigors of towing on the engine, cooling system and transmission. It includes Trailer Stability Assist to help keep trailer sway under control.

A camera in the windshield can record activity occurring in front of the vehicle, and let you save it for playback using your own compatible USB flash drive. Potentially useful for documenting an accident or other event, the 1,280x720-pixel video with a 30-Hz frame rate can also include vehicle speed and the time of day. Playback can be viewed on the car's multimedia display or on your own computer via your USB flash drive.

AMG Track Pace lets you record more than 80 parameters of performance data from your vehicle in the MBUX system during track driving, such as speed, acceleration, and lap and sector times. Twenty of the parameters (up to four at a time) can also be displayed live. Key data can also be displayed live in the reconfigurable digital instrument cluster. A race navigation feature can record tracks to show the cornering angles and braking points of the ideal "racing line" in the optional Head-Up Display.
